1. General provisions and scope of application.

1.1. When a User creates an account on the online platform Barter.expert, the User is required to provide certain information, such as their name, valid phone number, and password. The account includes information such as the name and phone number. (The account allows Users to communicate with each other to directly conduct transactions involving their products and services: barter, exchange, auction, buy/sell). By registering on Barter.expert and starting to use the online platform, the User gives their explicit consent to the Terms of Use and the conditions of this Privacy Policy. The User grants the online platform Barter.expert the right to collect, store, process, use, and disclose personal data in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy. By using the online platform Barter.expert, you also agree to our Terms of Use, which are mandatory for all Users. You can be assured that we will use your information only as outlined in this Privacy Policy.

1.2. The User is not allowed to use Barter.expert if they do not agree with the Terms of Use and the conditions of this Privacy Policy.

4.1. The purpose of processing personal data is to ensure the implementation of civil law relations, business activities, and the fulfillment of the powers and obligations assigned to Barter.expert in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine.

4.2. We strive to create a convenient environment tailored to the needs of each User. We use all the information we have to provide and support our online platform Barter.expert, specifically:

remembering information so that you don't have to re-enter it during the current or future visits to the Barter.expert online platform;
ensuring compliance with the current legislation, the Terms of Use, and this Privacy Policy;
ensure, enhance, test, and monitor the performance of the service;
track metrics, such as the total number of visitors and traffic;
develop and test new products and features;
diagnose or fix technical problems;
notify you about new features and updates on Barter.expert;
warn against fraudulent activities and spam distribution;
communicate with you (we may use your information to contact you and ensure the continuous operation of Barter.expert);
we collect information about the ratings you give to other Users after interacting with them, as well as the ratings you receive from other Users, in accordance with our Terms of Use;

The processing of personal data of the User is carried out indefinitely, by any legal means, including in personal data information systems with or without the use of automation tools. This Privacy Policy applies to the User from the moment they agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy when providing their personal data while using Barter.expert, and continues to apply until any information about the User, including personal data, is retained on Barter.expert, unless the personal data has been withdrawn by the data owner, or in other cases specified by current legislation. Barter.expert does not collect or process personal data regarding racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs.

5. Conditions for providing access to the database.

We do not share personal data with third parties, except in cases provided for by applicable law or the provisions of this Privacy Policy, as outlined below. Users are obligated not to disclose or share their personal data, such as login and password, or information about other Users obtained as a result of confirmed barters or other actions on Barter.expert.

Barter.expert reserves the right, in accordance with legal requirements, to exchange information with private individuals and government authorities for the following purposes:

combating fraud and abuse on Barter.expert;
investigating alleged violations of the law or addressing any other presumed breaches of the Terms of Use on Barter.expert by the User;
Barter.expert may provide Users' personal data upon requests from competent authorities, duly executed in accordance with the requirements of current legislation, including Article 93 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine;

6. How to change or delete personal information.

Users can change or delete their personal information at any time: simply log into your account on Barter.expert and make the necessary updates or deletions. Please note that some features of Barter.expert that require the User's information may be temporarily suspended once the information is changed or deleted. User personal data is stored until the User deletes it.

7. Changes in the Privacy policy.

Barter.expert may periodically update this Privacy Policy unilaterally without notifying the User about such changes. The updated Privacy Policy takes effect as soon as it is posted on the online platform. If any changes are made to the Privacy Policy that the User does not agree with, the User is required to stop using the Barter.expert online platform. Continuing to use Barter.expert constitutes the User’s acceptance and agreement to the updated Privacy Policy. In the event that any provision of this Privacy Policy, including any sentence, clause, or part thereof, is found to be contrary to law or invalid, it will not affect the remaining provisions that are not in conflict with the law: those provisions will remain in full force and effect, and any invalid provision or provision that cannot be enforced without further action by the parties will be deemed modified or corrected to the extent necessary to ensure its validity and enforceability.

8. Additional conditions.

The administration of Barter.expert is not responsible for any damage or losses incurred by the User due to a misunderstanding or misinterpretation of the terms of this Privacy Policy, as well as a misunderstanding or misinterpretation of the Terms of Use of Barter.expert.

In the event of inactivity in the User's account for a period of 5 (five) years, the administration of Barter.expert reserves the right to delete the User's account, including all personal data stored in the account. This means that the User will no longer be able to access or use the account. The procedure for deleting the User's personal data from Barter.expert's internal databases is regulated by the internal policies of Barter.expert.
